THE PARTYDANCEUK FORUM (temporarily offline for maintenance): http://www.partydanceuk.co.uk/forum/

PARTYDANCEUK – FUN POP MUSIC: PartyDanceUK is all about celebrating the dance music and songs of Steps, S Club 7, S Club Juniors (S Club 8), Same Difference, Kylie, Chico, Spice Girls, Lady Gaga, Girls Aloud, Sugababes, B*Witched, Katy Perry, Girls Can’t Catch, The Saturdays, Pixie Lott, Miley Cyrus, and many other similar pop /novelty acts – Scooch, Fast Food Rockers, Whigfield, Las Ketchup, Gina G, Lolly, Vengaboys, Aqua and lots more.

Staged performances showcasing a range of their dance routines will be presented by dance school students who will also be singing some of their hits. Also included will be renditions to hits of boybands such as Westlife and Boyzone to complement the more uptempo numbers.

Together with such features as audience singalongs and discos celebrating this style of pop, PartyDanceUK will work towards the staging of what would become a national outdoor partydance pop festival taking place each summer, an event where the performers are the stars. There would be areas set aside for displays of pictures and other memorabilia of acts whose music is being performed.

It is hoped there will be appearances by X Factor Finalists in the future – watch this space!

DANCE ANTHEMS 90’s/00’s:  A selection of great dance music from the 90’s and 00’s will feature in some events: tracks from: 2 Unlimited, Haddaway, Sybil, Vengaboys, Flip & Fill, Mr. President, Sash!, Robert Miles, Lasgo, Candee Jay, Cascada, Basshunter, Ultrabeat, Alice Deejay, Cabin Crew, Uniting Nations, N-Trance, DJ Sammy, Ian van Dahl, T-Spoon, Urban Cookie Collective, Real McCoy, Culture Beat, Ricky Martin, Eiffel 65, etc. Some great 80’s tracks may be included too, by Donna Summer, Irene Cara, Black Box, Technotronic, etc. (Page being developed) + more 80’s coming soon!

AWARENESS ON BULLYING: PartyDanceUK will help to raise awareness on the problems associated with school-bullying and its effects.  A Dance Foundation may be created to inspire others with radically new ideas - this would be a positive step in helping to tackle bullying. As part of the plans a special feature will be included in the events which will help to raise extra awareness on school-bullying – a mini-musical based on the theme of school-bullying should make it a unique project.

SAME DIFFERENCE

Singing In the Rain: featuring in the events schedule being planned for this summer will be a new fun way to raise money for worthy causes and a routine to that famous song will be a centrepiece. There is a ‘Fun events for rainy days page’ being developed which will give more details as time goes on. It’s something I’ve been really looking forward to doing as it’s an ideal summer for it!  August 12th 2009.

New talent: Opportunities would be provided for new talent to emerge for those who would enjoy the experience of performing to an audience in a non judgemental setting, the most desirable way to boost confidence - plus: there will also be opportunities to promote fresh talent through the PartyDanceUK website.

For budding writers and media students: PartyDanceUK will provide opportunities within this site to help as far as possible with the ambitions of those who would like to further their writing and communication techniques for purposes of hobby, study or career prospects. Users would be able to create their own webpage to enable them to enhance their skills at producing and adapting their own features online.

SU2D: STEPUP2FAME presents SU2D (STEPUP2DANCE), an awesome new site for dancers. It’s totally interactive and comes with it’s own wicked toolbar! A link to the site is provided in the Blogroll section on the left side of this page, to stepup2fame.com There is an interview with Tim Noble – Kylie’s choreographer and also with George Sampson the winner of Britain’s Got Talent. Why not pop along to take a look, you will find it really worthwhile!

Many thanks to Mark my artistic director for a wonderful job in helping me with providing the colour on this site.
