PARTYDANCEUK - FUN POP MUSIC: PartyDanceUK is all about celebrating the dance music and songs of Steps, S Club 7, S Club Juniors (S Club 8), Same Difference, Kylie, Chico, The Saturdays, HSM, Spice Girls, Girls Aloud, B*Witched and many other similar pop and partydance/novelty acts - Scooch, Whigfield, Las Ketchup, Gina G, Lolly, Vengaboys and lots more.
Staged performances showcasing a range of their dance routines will be presented by dance school students who will also be singing some of their hits. Also included will be renditions to hits of boybands such as Westlife and Boyzone to complement the more uptempo numbers.
Together with such features as audience singalongs and discos celebrating this style of pop, PartyDanceUK will work towards the staging of what would become a national outdoor partydance pop festival taking place each summer, an event where the performers are the stars. There would be areas set aside for displays of pictures and other memorabilia of acts whose music is being performed.
RAISING AWARENESS ON SCHOOL-BULLYING: PartyDanceUK hopes to raise awareness through its events on school-bullying and its effects - it is hoped that each event will be dedicated to all such victims especially to those whose lives have been affected by bullying. There is a page being developed, Awareness On Bullying, which gives more details - there is a link in the menu on the left of this page.
SAME DIFFERENCE: Same Difference consist of Sean and Sarah Smith - who reached the Final in series 4 of X Factor in 2007. Their single We R One was released in late November 2008 and their album Pop released a week later at the start of December. For details on this fantastically talented duo please click on the relevant page in the top menu on the left.
STEPS: Consisting of members Lisa Scott-Lee, Ian ‘H’ Watkins, Claire Richards, Faye Tozer and Lee Latchford-Evans, this fantastically successful band formed on 7th May 1997. They had many hit singles including 5,6,7,8 and the ‘double-A’-sided Heartbeat/Tragedy, the latter having reached number one in early 1999. They also had a number of albums reaching the top of the album charts during that period. Steps disbanded in 2001.
S CLUB 7: Band-members Jo O’Meara, Rachel Stevens, Jon Lee, Paul Cattermole, Bradley McIntosh, Tina Barrett and Hannah Spearritt made up this amazingly successful act. Their first hit Bring It All Back reached number one in 1999. They went on to have further hits including Reach and Never Had A Dream Come True. They became known in 2002 simply as S Club and disbanded in 2003.
PIXIE LOTT: There is a link in the Blogroll to the site of the wonderful new talent that is Pixie Lott, the new singing sensation. Well worth a visit!
DANI HARMER: Dani has her debut single, Free, out now. It’s the theme tune to Dani’s House and is sure to be an absolute smash when it enters the chart!
Singing In the Rain: featuring in the events schedule being planned for summer 2009 will be a new fun way to raise money for worthy causes and a routines to that famous song will be a centrepiece. There is a ‘Fun events for rainy days page’ being developed which will give more details as time goes on.
New talent: Opportunities would be provided for new talent to emerge for those who would enjoy the experience of performing to an audience in a non judgemental setting, the most desirable way to boost confidence - plus: there will also be opportunities to promote fresh talent through the PartyDanceUK website.
For budding writers and media students: PartyDanceUK will provide opportunities within this site to help as far as possible with the ambitions of those who would like to further their writing and communication techniques for purposes of hobby, study or career prospects. Users would be able to create their own webpage to enable them to enhance their skills at producing and adapting their own features online.
SU2D: STEPUP2FAME presents SU2D (STEPUP2DANCE), an awesome new site for dancers. It’s totally interactive and comes with it’s own wicked toolbar!
